Here's my interview experience with the Apple display team. My background is an EE PhD in image processing, and I was referred by a senior colleague who graduated from the same group.

The HR scheduled my first round interview the day after the referral, two 30-minute interviews, which they said were mainly behavioral. The actual process consisted of a 15-minute background interview plus one business-related question.
