I finished my thesis defense today and also signed an offer. Sharing my interview experience, hoping for some points!
My background is in electron microscopy. The Lam position I interviewed for is FIB/STEM Electron Microscopist, titled Process Engineering 3. This position has three shifts: morning, afternoon, and evening. I ultimately got the morning shift I wanted (although the afternoon and evening shifts have extra bonuses).
After a friend gave me a referral at the end of last year, the hiring manager contacted me in early January and asked me to complete a screening questionnaire. It consisted of very basic questions, which I answered truthfully; there were no technical questions.
