With some free time during Thanksgiving, I thought I'd share my job hunting experiences and insights from this semester in the hardware (ASIC, FPGA) field. I'm an ECE master's student at a university in central China. The school itself offers relatively few ASIC-related courses, and it felt somewhat disconnected from the industry. Fortunately, the CF (Computer Science) courses and subsequent recruitment events were very helpful; most of my interviews this semester were secured through CF and these events.
